The 2019 Gordon Conference on Mechanisms of Membrane Transport will continue the tradition of integrating structure, dynamics and function to reveal the mechanisms of membrane transporters and channels. This year, the Conference will further emphasize an integrative view of transport proteins as part their environment, where they are synthesized, fold and function within lipid membranes and where they evolve to fulfill the needs of cellular metabolism and signaling. The program will be grounded in the transformative recent structural advances and will cover novel means to experimentally and computationally probe protein energetics, dynamic and biogenesis.

When there are membrane proteins there is Salipro Biotech
We are highlighting drug discovery with Salipro in Berlin, Germany at the #RNDSeries19 (20th Annual Drug Discovery Summit - June 11 - 12) and also at the #AntibodyEng (Antibody Engineering & Therapeutics Europe - June 12 - 13) in Amsterdam, Netherlands emphasizing antibody generation by our platform.
Find out more in the recent publication of the Schmitt lab: “We conclude that the Salipro-system is a seminal approach not only for structural, but also for the functional characterisation of membrane proteins.”

We are looking forward to the BIO International Convention 2019 in Philadelphia. Get in touch with us to schedule a meeting or follow the conference partnering link (click here)
More about the BIO - The BIO International Convention (BIO) attracts 16,000+ biotechnology and pharma leaders who come together for one week of intensive networking to discover new opportunities and promising partnerships. The BIO brings together a wide spectrum of life science and application areas including drug discovery, biomanufacturing, genomics, biofuels, nanotechnology and cell therapy.
Salipro Biotech is invited to present at the 12th Annual Proteins & Antibodies Congress 2019 in London, UK - Join our presentation or interact with us during the poster session
Here, we present DirectMX™ (link) for the direct extraction of membrane proteins from crude cell membranes into Salipro® particles with native lipids. The method presents new opportunities for the analysis of membrane proteins and identification of novel drug targets.

Meet us at the ACS National Meeting in Orlando, USA (link to conference website) - Mar 31, 2019 - Apr 04, 2019
The ACS organizes two national meetings & expositions each year, and each one attracts an estimated 11,000 to 13,000 chemists, chemical engineers, academicians, graduate and undergraduate students, and other related professionals. During the meeting, scientists present new multidisciplinary research, hear the latest information in their areas of professional interest, and network with colleagues.
Presentation from Stefan Geschwindner (AstraZeneca) at the 6th edition of NovAliX conference, including data on our collaboration on challenging membrane protein targets with Salipro® and SPR.
Salipro Biotech signs multi-target agreement with an additional global pharma company. Salipro Biotech will apply its expertise and its unique membrane protein technology to advance programs on challenging targets selected by the pharmaceutical partner.
Out now: Salipro® goes Biacore™ systems - See the results of our collaboration with GE Healthcare on antibody binding to membrane proteins, detergent-free, in our Application Note (link)
